Ceramides are naturally produced lipids that form at least 60% of our skin barrier. CeraVe is unique because its formulation means that the ceramides are delivered in a MultiVesicular Emulsion (MVE). It helps deliver the ceramides to the skin over a period of 24 hours to maintain adequate hydration for that length of time.
